Purpose

Using ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) as an entry point, this lecture invites participants to learn—through interaction and discussion—how enterprises, government, and civil society drive sustainability. From a practical standpoint, it will unpack strategies such as carbon pricing, circular economy, and green innovation, helping attendees build a comprehensive understanding and foundations for action. Students are encouraged to take related courses (e.g., GHG inventory, net‑zero planning & management) and pursue professional certifications to strengthen skills and apply sustainability values in practice.

Student subsidy: Students who register and attend this lecture and subsequently complete sustainability‑related courses between March 1 and November 30, 2025 (ROC 114/3/1–11/30) and obtain a certificate are eligible for a NT$3,000 reimbursement of course registration fees. Limited quota; apply early.
Faculty development points: 2 points — Self‑growth (general).
Lunch: Provided (non‑vegetarian).
