Requirements

1.     A senior high school diploma acquired from an overseas senior high school or a foreign or bilingual school in Taiwan shall be recognized by M.O.E. and verified by R.O.C. representative office.

2.    Good standing in academic achievement.

Evaluation for Admission

1.         Applicant with Chinese proficiency is required:

Proficiency equivalent to Steering Committee for the Test of Proficiency-Huayu (SC-TOP) – TOCFL level 5 or higher (or other equivalent standardized tests) is required. (http://www.sc-top.org.tw/)

2.         All documents submitted to the Office of Academic Affairs will be assessed by the Committee of Department of Public Health for the initial screening. Accepted applicants will be notified individually after the evaluation is completed.

Basic Requirements

1.         Holds a bachelor’s degree in related medical, life or natural sciences from a local or foreign university which is recognized by M.O.E. and verified by R.O.C. representative office.

2.         A minimum GPA of B or 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (a notarized Chinese or English translation of transcript is required)

Evaluation for Admission

1.         Applicant with Chinese communication ability is preferred.

(1) Has passed Steering Committee for the Test of Proficiency-Huayu (SC-TOP) - TOCFL level 5 or higher, or other equivalent certificates.

(2) A letter of recommendation to certify that the candidate is equipped with enough Chinese proficiency to attend the lectures taught in Chinese.

(3) Autobiography

2.         All documents submitted to the Office of Academic Affairs will be assessed by the Committee of Department of Public Health for the initial screening. Accepted applicants will be notified individually after the evaluation is completed.

3.         Early Decision Evaluation is not available for the Department of Public Health.

Basic Requirements

3.     Applicants whose native language is not English must provide official proof of English proficiency with scores at or above the following levels: TOEFL ITP500, CBT 193, iBT 68, IELTS 5.5 or TOEIC 600.

1.     Autobiography

2.     Research Proposal

3.     Related academic publications

4.     Proof of English proficiency aforementioned

5.     Two letters of recommendation (at least one must from the candidate’s supervisor or head of the department)
